2025 Summer KAI-X Research Internship Program
Students interested in the field of natural science including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Brain & Cognitive Science, and Medical Science are invited to participate in this program as follows:
▶Eligibility: Overseas undergraduate students (3rd/4th year) and graduate students (master course) in the field of natural science including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Brain & Cognitive Science, and Medical Science
▶Internship Period: July 1 ~ August 16 (7 weeks)
▶Application:
– Application Period: from Jan 1 to Feb 5, 2025, 24:00 (Seoul Time, UTC+9)
– Required documents: Application form, an essay (activity plan), a proof of enrollment, an official transcript, and a letter of recommendation
– How to apply: email to KAI-X (kai-x_internship@kaist.ac.kr)
▶Selection: If chosen, you will be allocated to one laboratory from the three preferences you have indicated, where you will engage in research activities throughout the internship period. Individual notifications regarding the selection outcome will be conveyed by March 31.
▶Support: The permissible support encompasses the actual expenses for round-trip airfare, with a maximum limit of 1 million KRW, and dormitory costs, which should not exceed 500,000 KRW. Additionally, a living expense support of 500,000 KRW will be provided.
