La Salle – Ramon Llull University is delighted to announce the launch of our new Sports Innovation and Technology Summer School, hosted in Barcelona. This program, which runs from July 13th to July 24th, examines the impact of technological innovation on the global sports industry, offering participants a rigorous academic experience in a dynamic and innovation-driven environment. Aimed at students and recent graduates, the Summer School focuses on building practical skills, encouraging international networking, and supporting the transition from academic studies to professional careers in the sports industry.
Throughout this two-week programme, participants will have the opportunity to explore in depth aspects related to sports business management, how rights operate in today’s sports industry, and sports marketing in its various forms. In addition, it is important to highlight that we are currently finalising agreements with the Futbol Club Barcelona, the Girona Futbol Club and the EuroLeague Basketball, among other highly reputable institutions.
In this course, students will learn and apply new concepts related to:
- Digital Transformation in Sport
- Business Innovation in Sport
- AI in Sport
- Data in Sport
- Innovation in Sport Sponsorship
- Innovation in Football: FCB Feminine Football
- Innovation in Sports Marketing
- Innovation in Sports Law
- Sports Ecosystem
- TV Rights and Digital Innovation
Additionally, during the two-week program, guided visits will be organized to leading companies and top-tier sports facilities. Finally, students will be required to submit a final project in which they will apply all the knowledge acquired throughout the summer program.
We offer two distinct program options: with accommodation included or without accommodation. The price with accommodation included is €2,550, while the price without accommodation is €2,050. In both cases, the fee DOES INCLUDE tuition and lunch on instructional days (Monday to Friday).
*A 20% discount on the program fee will be applied to students from our partner universities.
