The Faculty mourns the loss of Prof. Dr. Ernst Binz, who passed away on 12 July 2024 at the age of 85. Prof. Binz was a founding member of the Faculty and thus rendered lasting services. The professors of the Faculty will honour his memory as a dedicated colleague who loved his profession.

Prof. Philipp Kellmeyer is part of the Research Hub Neuroethics (RHUNE), which began on March 1, 2024. The aim of the innovative collaborative project is to improve the networking of neuroethics research in Germany, strengthen it in the long term and make it even more visible internationally.
