What are the academic requirements for admission?
Admission is only possible with a bachelor’s degree in Business Informatics or an “equivalent“ degree. Equivalency is given with at least 30 ECTS in economic sciences or business informatics, 30 ECTS in computer science (whereof 8 ECTS must be in programming), and at least 18 ECTS in mathematics.
Can my documents be checked in advance to see if I meet the requirements?
Due to a large number of requests, we cannot check documents in advance. Each application will be examined in detail on eligibility. If you are unsure whether you meet the requirements, please do not hesitate to apply. Additionally, we are unable to state whether your previous educational experience is sufficient since it depends on the number of applicants and their qualifications.
What are the English language requirements?
You have to prove a considerable amount of English language skills. The requirement is fulfilled if:
• English was the main course language in your bachelor's program.
• You have earned a university entrance qualification for an English language program.
• You present one of the accepted test results.

Every student has to pay semester fees with the amount of 204.30 Euro each semester they are enrolled at the University of Mannheim.
This consists of 70 Euro administration costs, 120.30 Euro for the Studierendenwerk, and a 14 Euro fee for the Student Body Representative Committee.
Students from the EU, EEA member states, or German students who have already obtained a bachelor's or master's degree in Germany must pay a tuition fee of 650 Euro for their second degree of the same level.Are there tuition fees for international students?
Starting from fall semester 2017 the Federal State of Baden-Württemberg has implemented tuition fees of EUR 1,500 per semester for international students. This change will not apply to students who are EU citizens or citizens of a member state of the European Economic Area (EEA) as well as to refugees. Moreover, this change will not affect foreign students who hold a German university entrance qualification (e.g. Abitur).
