Chair of Analysis

Prof. Dr. Simone Rademacher (she/her)
In our research, we combine various topics from analysis, including the calculus of variations, the theory of partial differential equations, and spectral theory. Our goal is to develop mathematical descriptions for problems arising primarily in quantum physics.
In teaching, we cover courses in analysis, both at the introductory and at more advanced levels.
We are currently involved in the following research project:
DFG Network „Appearance of the effective mass in polaron systems“ joint with University Paderborn 2026–2029.
