The University of Mannheim promotes international exchange with visiting scholars from abroad.

You would like to come to the University of Mannheim as a visiting scholar in order to teach and carry out research for a predetermined period of time?

Please contact one of our chairs whose research area fits your own best to discuss your research proposal. Once you have agreed on a topic and your planned stay, we will inform the Welcome Center. The Welcome Center will help you determine the exact status you will have at the University of Mannheim, as this will affect the kind of visa you have to apply for, choosing the right health insurance, and much more.
