    In line with section 26 subsection 1 of the Act on Higher Education of the Land of Baden-Württemberg (LHG), the committee on student affairs and teaching is chaired by the dean for student affairs. The elected members and terms of office in the committee on student affairs and teaching are listed below.

    In accordance with section 10 of the Constitution of the University of Mannheim, the term of office of the student representatives is one year. The term of office of all other representatives is four years. The term of office of the student representatives started on 1 August 2019.The term of office of all other representatives started on 1 August 2016 and will end on 31 July 2020.

    The term of office of the student members is one year according to § 10 of the Basic Regulations, and four years for the other members.     One student is still enrolled in the program. She failed to submit her Diplom thesis as planned on July 31, 2018. The student has already been disenrolled, but there is an ongoing appeal procedure against this decision.
